Honourable Jaji described the attack as a cruel and reprehensible act that underscores the urgent need for sustained and coordinated efforts to eradicate criminality and restore lasting peace across Zamfara State and Nigeria. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen security operatives, the bereaved families of the civilian victims and all those affected by the incident.
This was contained in a statement signed by Salis Muhammad Moriki, said the lawmaker paid glowing tribute to the gallant security personnel who continue to make enormous sacrifices in defence of the nation, noting that their courage, patriotism and commitment to protecting lives and property remain invaluable. He also commended members of community-based security outfits and local vigilante groups for their resilience and dedication in supporting ongoing security operations despite the grave risks they face.
Honourable Jaji reaffirmed his confidence in the determination of the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intensify efforts aimed at defeating banditry and other forms of violent criminality. He assured the people of his constituency that he would continue to work closely with relevant authorities while complementing the efforts of both the Federal and Zamfara State Governments through every legitimate means to enhance the safety and security of communities.
He urged residents to remain vigilant, law-abiding and cooperative with security agencies by providing timely and credible information that would assist ongoing operations against criminal elements.
Honourable Aminu Sani Jaji concluded by praying to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant eternal rest to the souls of the security personnel and civilians who lost their lives in the attack, grant speedy recovery to those injured, comfort the bereaved families and ensure the safe and unconditional return of all those abducted.
