The Zawiyya comprises 42 classes with over 17,000 students from across Nigeria and other African countries, making it one of the largest Almajiri schools on the continent.
In a statement signed by DSP Yazid Abubakar, Police Public Relations Officer, for Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, Gusau. During the visit, the Commissioner of Police was warmly received by khalifa Ibrahim Sheikh Balarabe and several prominent Islamic scholars (Sheikhs) who were present at the gathering. The visit provided an opportunity for engagement on the importance of peace, security, and community collaboration in addressing security challenges.
Special prayers were offered for sustained peace, unity, and peaceful coexistence in Zamfara State and Nigeria as a whole. The scholars also prayed for divine guidance, protection, and success for security personnel in their ongoing efforts to safeguard lives and property across the state.
CP Bello expressed his appreciation to Khalifa Ibrahim Sheikh Balarabe and the entire Zawiyya community for their continuous prayers and support for the Nigeria Police Force. He reaffirmed the Command's commitment to strengthening partnerships with religious leaders and community stakeholders in promoting peace, stability, and public safety throughout Zamfara State.
