After Deep Reflection, Wide Consultations, And Steadfast Commitment To The Progress Of Our Community,
I Hereby Declare My Intention To Contest For The Office Of President, National Association Of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) At The Forthcoming July 30th To August 1st 2026 Elective Convention.
This Declaration Is Driven By My Belief That Every Polytechnic Student Deserves A Stronger Voice, Better Representation, Improved Welfare, And Equal Opportunities For Growth.
As A Former Vice President Of NAPS, I Have Witnessed Firsthand Challenges Students Face, From Inadequate Learning Conditions To Declining Welfare, Limited Empowerment Opportunities, And Weak National Advocacy.
I Am Stepping Forward To Lead With Courage, And Renewed Vision That Places The Student At The Center Of Every Decision.
My Mission Is Clear:
- To Champion Better Welfare And Safer Campuses.
-To Promote Technical And Vocational Empowerment.
- To Strengthen Unity Across All Polytechnics Nationwide.
- To Open Doors For Entrepreneurship, Industrial Linkages, And Skills Development.
- To Restore NAPS As A Credible, Respected, And Impactful National Voice.
Together, We Can Reshape The Future Of Technical Education In Nigeria.
Together, We Can Build A NAPS That Listens, Leads, And Delivers.
I Ask For Your Support, Your Voice, And Your Mandate To Serve.
Let’s Rise. Let’s Unite. Let’s Lead.
NAPS Must Work For Every Student.
Vote: Comrade Lukman Lawal Orbarna for NAPS
President 2026.
