In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Gaya described the re-nomination as well deserved, stating that it reflects Governor Yusuf's confidence in Garo's loyalty, commitment, and significant contributions to the development of Kano State since the administration took office.
He noted that the Deputy Governor's dedication, exemplary leadership, and steadfast support for the administration's policies have earned him the opportunity to continue serving alongside the governor.
Gaya expressed confidence that the Abba Kabir Yusuf–Murtala Sule Garo (AKY/MSG) ticket would consolidate on the achievements recorded by the current administration and secure the support of the people of Kano State in the 2027 governorship election.
He also prayed for Allah to grant Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Deputy Governor Murtala Sule Garo continued wisdom, sound health, strength, and guidance as they work toward advancing the development and prosperity of Kano State.
