The appointment, which takes effect from 11th September, 2026, was contained in a letter signed by the Commission Secretary, Shafiu Bukhari, Esq., for the Executive Chairman.
According to the letter, Salisu Sabo will be responsible for the coordination, supervision, planning and implementation of all Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programmes in the Council, in line with extant Public Service Rules, Local Government Regulations and WASH policies.
The letter further directed him to report to the Head of Local Government Administration for assumption of duty. The Commission charged him to exhibit professionalism, integrity, commitment and accountability in the discharge of his duties.
