Honourable Aliyu Abubakar Tsafe (MC) has warmly congratulated Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar on his well-deserved appointment as Director-General of the campaign organisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Honourable Tsafe described the appointment as a strategic and timely decision, considering Senator Yari's extensive political experience, organisational capacity, grassroots mobilisation network, and longstanding commitment to the development and strengthening of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to him, Senator Yari's political trajectory—from his tenure as Governor of Zamfara State to his service in the National Assembly—has demonstrated his ability to navigate complex political environments, build broad-based alliances, mobilise political structures, and maintain strong connections with the grassroots.
He further noted that Senator Yari's contributions to the growth of democratic politics and the APC, particularly his engagement with political stakeholders across different regions and constituencies, have positioned him as a formidable political strategist capable of leading a nationwide campaign.
Honourable Tsafe expressed confidence that the appointment would further strengthen the President's political machinery ahead of the 2027 general elections. He observed that entrusting the responsibility of coordinating the campaign to a politician of Senator Yari's experience sends a strong message about the importance the President and the APC attach to grassroots mobilisation, political inclusiveness, strategic engagement, and effective coordination.
He added that Senator Yari's understanding of the political dynamics of Northern Nigeria, combined with his national political networks and relationships across party and regional lines, would be an important asset in building a broad coalition of support for President Tinubu ahead of 2027.
“Senator Abdulaziz Yari is a politician with considerable experience, deep grassroots connections and an extensive network of relationships across Nigeria. Honourable Aliyu Abubakar Tsafe (MC) expressed optimism that under Senator Yari's leadership, the campaign organisation would effectively communicate the achievements and policy direction of the Tinubu administration, mobilise supporters, engage critical stakeholders and consolidate the APC's electoral base across the country.
He therefore prayed for wisdom, strength and success for Senator Abdulaziz Yari in the discharge of his responsibilities as Director-General of the campaign, while also wishing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a successful campaign and victory in the 2027 presidential election.
Honourable Tsafe further called on APC members, supporters and stakeholders across the country to remain united, disciplined and committed to the party's collective objective as the nation approaches the 2027 general elections.
