The Bauchi State House of Assembly under the leadership of the Speaker, Hon. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (ÆŠangaladiman Ningi) warmly congratulated the newly and re-elected Local Government Chairmen in the State. It described their victories as the will of God and hope of the mass majority questing for inclusive leadership that will install projects and good governance at the grassroot levels.
The lawmakers particularly felicitates with its former Majority Leader, Hon. Saleh Hodi Jibir who contested and massively won the seat of Shira Local Government Chairman. Recall that last week, the leader resigned from his seat as the House's Majority Leader as well as a representative of Disina Constituency to fully take part in the Chairmanship poll; his victory is a testament that people trust the lawmakers and hopeful for impactful leadership.

Bala Mohammed Abdulƙadir (Ƙauran Daular Usmaniyya) for providing the level play ground, needed resources and atmosphere that allowed all to contest. This freewill has revived and strengthened our democratic dispensation especially at the governments closer to the electorates, the Governor's dedications and sacrifices for democratic sustenance are worthy and laudable.
"The lawmakers categorically reminded the council Chairmen of the cardinal responsibilities attached to their offices, urging them to treat all as equal and with utmost concern irrespective of tribes, faiths or localities. They should always allow their doors open thereby giving the Constitutional privileges for divergent constituents to channel grievances, rising societal issues and what will bring succor to their daily lives". The Legislatures reiterated their commitment to partner, work and use its legal framework to engage in initiatives that will improve the living conditions of the people while erecting legacies for the current and future generations. The House urged all 20 LGA Chairmen to consolidate the policies of the present administration and deliver more amenities for developments to reign.
