‎AYAGL Backs Dagazau, Reaffirms Support for Tinubu’s Reforms

The Arewa Youth Assembly for Good Leadership (AYAGL) has reaffirmed its confidence in NNPCL Executive Vice President Mumuni Dagazau and called for support for President Bola Tinubu’s petroleum sector reforms.
‎
‎The assembly made its position known in a statement signed by its President, Alhaji Danbature Abdul-Hamid, on Friday.
‎
‎It said its confidence in Dagazau was based on his leadership and contributions to the downstream petroleum sector.
‎
‎The group described calls for his suspension as politically motivated, warning that unsubstantiated allegations against public officials could distract institutions from their responsibilities.
‎
‎AYAGL urged stakeholders to channel complaints through appropriate authorities and established procedures rather than resorting to public accusations.
‎
‎It also called on its state chapters, affiliate groups and other stakeholders to support Dagazau and promote stability in the petroleum industry.
‎
‎The assembly reaffirmed its support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that stable leadership was important for the effective implementation of ongoing energy sector reforms.
‎
‎It urged Nigerians to promote constructive engagement and allow relevant authorities to address concerns in accordance with established procedures.
