Sheikh Fari, who was widely regarded as one of the leading Islamic scholars and a respected authority in giving fatwa in Zamfara State, died recently, leaving a huge vacuum in the Islamic community.
In his condolence message made available to newsmen, Engr. Ibrahim Shehu described the late cleric as a father and a great scholar whose contributions to Islamic knowledge and propagation of peace will be greatly missed.
The PDP chieftain also extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, his students, and the entire Muslim Ummah in Zamfara State, praying to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings.
He further prayed for strength and fortitude for the family and the people of the state to bear the irreparable loss, describing the death as a great loss not only to his family but to the entire state.
Until his death, Sheikh Abubakar Aliyu Fari was known for his deep knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence and his commitment to guiding the Muslim community in Zamfara and beyond.
